Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add mashed banana, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
- Mix dry ingredients and combine with wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips (and nuts if using). Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes; cool before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the sheet.
