  • 1 can cherry pie filling 21 oz can
Dry Mix
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz box
Dairy & Oils
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread cherry filling in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix over cherry filling.
  4. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  5. Add nuts and vanilla if desired.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
