Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs, vanilla, and peppermint extracts.
- Mix in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips and peppermint candies.
- Drop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool cookies on wire rack before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
