Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for filling)
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix softened butter, sugars, and vanilla until fluffy.
  2. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients. Form dough balls and place on baking sheet.
  3. Indent centers of dough balls; bake for 10-12 minutes. Melt chocolate chips for filling.
  4. Fill indentations with melted chocolate; add sprinkles if desired. Cool before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overbake for soft, chewy centers.
