  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup molasses
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 0.5 cup chocolate melted for topping
  • 0.25 cup crushed peppermint for topping
  • 0.5 cup jam for filling
  • 0.25 cup chopped nuts
  • 0.25 cup colored sugar for decoration
  • 0.5 cup dried fruits chopped
  • 0.25 cup red candy for decoration
  • 0.5 cup vanilla icing for decorating

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves with butter, molasses, and brown sugar. Roll out, cut, bake, and decorate.
  2. Cream butter and sugar, add flour, baking powder, vanilla. Roll, cut, bake, and decorate.
  3. Make chocolate cookies, bake, top with melted chocolate and peppermint.
  4. Form dough into balls, make thumbprints with jam, bake until golden.
  5. Combine flour, butter, nuts, form balls, bake, roll in powdered sugar.
  6. Cut shortbread into shapes, bake, spread jam, top with another cookie.
