Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Garnish
  • optional Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  2. Mix cottage cheese, half of mozzarella, marinara, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine cooked pasta with cheese mixture and transfer to a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, then bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool briefly, garnish with basil if desired, and serve.

Notes

You can add extra vegetables or protein for variation.
