Method
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add molasses, egg, and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to form dough, refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), roll out dough, cut shapes, and place on baking sheets.
