Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
Vegetables
  • 2 cups shredded hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook sausage until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer hash browns in a greased 9x13 dish, add sausage, then pour egg mixture, top with cheese and green onions.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey sausage and low-fat cheese.
