Method
- Combine cranberries, diced apple, sugar, and vinegar in a saucepan.
- Add onion, spices, and salt; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in raisins and lemon juice during the last 5 minutes.
- Cool slightly, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
This chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week and tastes even better after a day or two.
