Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Bites

These elegant and easy-to-make puff pastry bites combine creamy brie, tart cranberry sauce, and fresh herbs for a perfect appetizer.

Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Cheese
  • 1 cup brie cheese, cut into small pieces
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
Egg Wash
  • 1 egg beaten egg
Garnish
  • fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
  2. Place brie in center of each square, top with cranberry sauce, then fold and seal edges.
  3. Brush with beaten egg and arrange on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly and garnish with herbs if desired.

Notes

For a crispier crust, chill the assembled bites before baking.
