Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup crushed corn flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix hash browns, cheese, soup, sour cream, butter, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with crushed corn flakes.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add a sprinkle of additional crushed corn flakes before baking.
