Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and extracts. Blend dry ingredients into wet mixture.
- Roll dough into balls, flatten, and bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make icing, add food coloring if desired. Decorate cooled cookies with icing and sprinkles.
