Ingredients
  

Potatoes
  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 unit onion, finely chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until translucent.
  3. Mix cooked potatoes, onions, cream, cheeses, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish, sprinkle paprika, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the mixture.
