Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns 30 oz
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add hashbrowns and stir until combined.
  4. Fold in 1 1/2 cups cheese, transfer to baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining cheese and bake 45-50 mins until bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For a crispier top, broil for the last 2 minutes.
