Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 bag frozen hash browns thawed
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or potato chips optional for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix hash browns, soup, sour cream, butter, onion and garlic powders, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in 1.5 cups of cheddar cheese, then transfer to a greased 9x13 dish.
  4. Top with remaining cheese and crushed chips, then bake 45-55 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, add more crushed chips on top before baking.
