  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh basil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roast squash for 40-45 minutes, then scrape into strands.
  2. Heat marinara sauce; mix ricotta, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine squash strands with sauce and ricotta mixture; transfer to baking dish.
  4. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan; bake 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of milk or cream before baking.
