Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix butter, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper to make herb butter.
- Pat turkey dry, rub under skin and over outside with herb butter.
- Stuff cavity with lemon, onion, carrots, and celery. Tie legs and tuck wings.
- Pour broth into pan, roast turkey, basting every 30 minutes, until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest turkey for 20-30 minutes before carving.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper doneness.
