Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
Sauce ingredients
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook diced chicken until browned; add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Steam broccoli until tender; combine with cooked chicken.
  4. Mix milk, cheese, salt, and pepper; add to skillet and stir until cheese melts.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with sauce and chicken mixture; transfer to baking dish.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a healthier option, use low-fat cheese and milk.
