Meat
  • 1 pound sausage (Italian or breakfast sausage)
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook sausage with diced onion and bell pepper in olive oil until browned.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Layer hash browns and cooked sausage mixture in a greased casserole dish, then pour egg mixture over.
  5. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until eggs are set and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

For a richer flavor, try adding some chopped herbs or hot sauce before serving.
