Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes (optional, for topping)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix hashbrowns, sour cream, soup, cheese, butter, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer to a greased 9x13 inch dish and top with crushed cornflakes if desired.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, add more crushed cornflakes on top before baking.
