Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Mix ricotta, egg, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper. Combine with cooked pasta.
- Spread half of marinara sauce in a greased dish. Layer pasta mixture, then top with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 10-15 more minutes.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with basil if desired, then serve.
Notes
You can add extra vegetables or protein for variation.
