Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix wet ingredients until combined, then add dry ingredients and fold in nuts if using.
- Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of ginger or cloves.
