  • 1 bunch Fresh Asparagus about 1 lb, firm with tightly closed tips, vibrant green
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil adds fruity flavor
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt to taste, coarse salt preferred
  • ¼ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder for savory flavor
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes for gentle heat
  • 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese for cheesy crust

Method
 

  1. Rinse and dry the asparagus, then trim off the tough ends by snapping or cutting.
  2. Toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the seasoned spears in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 7-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until tender-crisp and lightly browned.
  5. Remove from air fryer, sprinkle with Parmesan, and serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon if desired.
