Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle cake mix on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix and sprinkle nuts if using.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
