Ingredients
  

Butter
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
Sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
Eggs
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
Flour
  • 1 ½ cups flour
Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
Salt
  • ½ tsp. salt
Mashed Bananas
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (about 3)
Sour Cream
  • ½ cup sour cream
Vanilla
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped Walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped, optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix.
  3. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Stir in sour cream, bananas, and vanilla.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake 50-55 minutes.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle with cinnamon or add chocolate chips.
