- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss berries with 1/4 cup sugar and set aside.
- Mix flour, remaining sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. Add melted butter and heavy cream; stir until just combined.
- Pour berry mixture into a baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of batter over the berries.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
