  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional) optional

Method
 

  1. Grease the crockpot and add apple pie filling.
  2. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the filling.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the filling, then pour melted butter on top.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts (if using), then cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
  5. Serve warm with remaining caramel and ice cream, if desired.
